Hi I'm Alex! I love to write and create things, and figured a penpal would be a perfect hobby! I love to read, and am really interested in television and cinema (I'm currently writing my undergrad thesis in Film Studies). my favourite movies are Portrait of a Lady on Fire, Dead Poets Society, and Aftersun (I promise I like happy movies too!). In terms of reading, one of my favourite authors is Shirley Jackson, but I read almost any genre of fiction (I especially love a good fantasy novel). I also love to travel, so I definitely see this as a fun way to make friends around the world!
