I'm a hobbyist writer. I enjoy a good book, especially if I get to read one instead of doing any work at my... well, work. On occasions a bit too ready to have my entire attention fund wholly monopolized by a single piece of useless research. By the way, did you know that the inspiration for the character of Holmes was Joseph Bell? Funnily enough, he himself is considered a pioneer of forensic science? He even took part in an interview where he was asked about Doyle and recounted a short anecdote about red clay, that I'm pretty sure actually appeared in the book. Anyway, what was I saying?
