I'm kind of a goofbal who loves to draw and paint dark fantasy and mythology inspired characters. I enjoy learning about Jungian Psychology, Mythology and writings like Joseph Campbell, and romantic era philosophy and art. I've recently read some lyrical poetry by Novalis. My favorite old master painters and schools are the PreRaphaelites like John William Waterhouse and symbolist painters such as Fernand Khnopff. Any piece of literature, art, movie, or theatre that is rich with moody symbolism, esotericism, or a sense of spiritual mystery will usually catch my attention.
