I awake early and spend all morning working on my writing, either a script for a stage play or a script for a film. I have done quite a bit of photography in the past, both studio (when one was available) and landscape. I read both science-related and literary magazines (Harpers, New York Review of Books) but my worklife was all managerial in corporations but private and public. I've been particularly interested in Weimar Republic history and literature but not World War 2 history. I like to try to understand why things turn out as they do among people.
