Two defining traits of myself are curiosity and empathy. My hobbies include knitting and gardening. I'm also an avid reader of history, philosophy and anthropology. In my spare time, I'm often hiking, exploring nature, and generally being a nerd about the natural world. I spend much of my time thinking about humanity and trying to gauge our place in history. I am deeply spiritual, but not religious. I am equally comfortable talking science as I am about things unknown and unseen.
