I am originally from Germany but have spent more than half my life in England. I now live in a small village surrounded by beautiful countryside. I always dreamed of travelling and getting to know the world but have managed to see far too few countries. Having penpals is almost as good, though. They bring the world so much closer together. My 2 girls are growing up and I find myself with more time on my hand. I love family life, a long chat with a friend, losing myself in a book but also going out and exploring the world around me or further afield. There is so much to discover.
