Pretty laid back yet liberal minded. Enjoy chatting with friends yet will admit that it has its limits. I am only 2nd generation American as my paternal grandfather came over from the Netherlands. I have taken some courses in Dutch but am very limited in conversation. I was raised a Roman Catholic but do not currently embrace any specific religion (but will freely admit that I am thrilled that the new Pope has American origins). I was diagnosed with cancer (dediferentiated liposarcome) 2 years ago and given 2 years to live...so I should be on my way out...but am still here.
