Hello world, nice to meet you! I think that pen paling is a perfect way to learn about life and ideas in other countries and to find dear friends I would not meet otherwise. In our current times it seems to be more important than ever to stay in contact and to look "beyond our own nose". I am in my early 60s, and I live with my husband and our two pets in the middle of the Netherlands, next to a national park. Among others I like nature, long walks in the countryside, animals, traveling, the arts, history, photography, painting and cooking.
