I am a philosopher, and am intensely interested in East Asian and Slavic art, religion and philosophy, though my understanding of these things is an ongoing development. My main areas of expertise are in the philosophy of religion, particularly Christian mysticism, and how that relates to aesthetics and ethics. I also know quite a bit about the philosophy of science and logic. In addition, I'm a photographer very much influenced by pictorialist photography--of which Japan produced amazing examples. I love practically all forms of art and culture, and simply want to share this love with people.
