I am a creative person with a strong religious bent and a background in the hard sciences. Yes, that makes for an odd combination, but I like it. One of my favorite activities is writing; in fact, I am a published novelist. I am also very involved in my religion. I follow a very old, but minority religion and am the leader of the local group. I love animals and currently have two cats. Also, I am a gay man. I am open about who and what I am and will not hide such an important aspect from myself from anyone who might become a friend.
