I can speak intelligently on most subjects. I am a generalist, as we say in the States. It is the unfortunate result of having history and fine arts degrees. This means that i cant do anything important but I can make pretty pictures and tell a lot of interesting stories at parties. I taught for a time. I was a mountain guide for a time. I was an artist for a time. I've screwed up large parts of my life. I've done dangerous & dumb things & now live with regret. I've fallen head over heels in love & had my heart broken, several times.
