I am a retired teacher, a novelist and a singer-songwriter. I’m happily married, and I have three sons, far too many cats and a dog. It makes for a lively home. I want to make lasting penpal relationships in English or French. I am also looking for friends in France, specifically. I’m fairly well travelled, and I would describe myself as a francophile. I love studying and discussing history, but don’t enjoy arguing about contemporary politics. I do very much enjoy cooking, maintaining my garden, hiking, reading and playing music.
