**Currently in the UK on holiday but back in the US in August!**I grew up in the UK and moved to the US for my PhD in literature. Former academic now working in education and the non-profit sector. Passionate about books (duh!), history, arts, karaoke, travel, and learning new things. I'm currently volunteering as a writing coach for young kids, teaching myself French and Spanish, and writing poetry and essays (my first book will be published this year!). We don't need to have exactly the same interests. As long as you are curious about the world, kind, and genuine, I'm sure we'll get on : )
