I am an outgoing person with a thirst to learn, even at my age. When I visit a place I am drawn to the architecture of the buildings and in a new area can spend many hours looking at buildings, learning about when they were built and who designed them. Before retirement I worked in a museum, preparing displays on various subjects and this has given me an interest to explore our history, to learn about how my ancestors were involved and visit places they went to in the course of their lives and to maybe follow in their footsteps somewhere along the way.
