Most of what matters to me happens in my head before it happens anywhere else. I'll take one real conversation over an evening of small talk, and I read more than I talk in a group. But that changes fast once it's just the two of us. Leopardi is closer to my resting state than anything upbeat I could write here. None of that keeps me out of the water half the year or off a mountain the other half. I don't do many things halfway. Occasionally a problem. Mostly not.
