I’m a semi-retired charity professional. I’m interested in history - in particular social history, women’s history, and the history of cooking and housekeeping. I’m also interested in unusual objects that reflect how women lived, worked and supported their families. I collect old cookbooks too. I’m married and like many of us I enjoy travel, visiting family and gardening. I work with a gardening charity as well as a local Edwardian library. I live far from family and I think that corresponding to other likeminded people adds depth and richness to life!
