I am a strong minded, perhaps opinionated! senior, who enjoys keeping fit by walking and tai chi. Living in Canada, where the winters are too long, and the summer is often too hot, I tend to spend quite a bit of time alone indoors.I have been keeping a journal for many years, and enjoy writing. I am prompted to look for a penpal partly because I’m interested in other countries and how people live. I’m very interested in politics in the Western world, especially the “managed decline” as JD Vance called it. I lost a friend who shared my conservative outlook and I miss that exchange.
