I like to say that I am twice retired. I had a career in the Army and then taught at a university. I have always been interested in history, and for the last few years I have written and published short stories set around World War I as well as a few fantasy stories. Recently, I've become interested in AI and am currently working on two stories about AI-human relations. My other creative pursuit is woodworking; I recently started carving, whereas before I designed and built furniture. I read just about anything and have recently been hooked on mysteries and rereading Shakespeare.
