I'm a thinking kind of person but enjoy a good laugh. The state the world is in, that's important. I read literature, history and politics. Now that I am retired from teaching, I have the time to write fiction. I have pets, am vegetarian and have travelled a bit. I speak some German but wish to nurture it if possible but am happy to write in English. I like people and enjoy the chance of writing to someone in another country to see the world with their eyes. When the mood takes me, I like to knit and it is my hope to learn to paint.
