Hi all! I’m Avery, a fourth-year History and Indigenous studies student on the West coast of Canada- and graduating soon! I love history for the perspectives it gives us on the contemporary world and the beauty of a story, and I hope to work full time in a museum someday. Canadian history, WWII history, queer history, and decolonial history are some of my favourite topics to study. When I’m not busy with homework, you’ll find me escaping to the great outdoors to hike, camp, fish, and otherwise explore. I love adventure, live music, a little bit of grit, and a smoke to enjoy at the day’s end.
